3. Summary

We have introduced how to create WebAR content that can be easily experienced as long as you have a browser. This time, we introduced how to display your own models in AR, but as mentioned at the beginning of this article, you can also use models created by other creators in conjunction with Sketchfab. It is also possible to display your favorite photos and videos in AR. For videos, you can use green background video to display images with transparent backgrounds, as shown in the video below, and you can even create a video letter using AR. Please try to create your own original AR contents by taking advantage of the various functions.

This article introduces WorldCAST, the simplest no-code tool, but those who are good at programming can use javascript frameworks such as A-Frame and Babylon.js to develop more complex AR content. These frameworks can also be used to easily support head-mounted displays such as Meta Quest as well as smartphones. If you are interested in this opportunity, please give it a try. Also, if you are interested in learning more about AR and VR development, I would be happy to have you join the AR content creation study group I am hosting.
